Broken wheat\wheat rava\samba godumai\godumai rava - 1 cup
chana dal - 1/2 cup
tuvar dal - 1/2 cup
urad dal - 1 tbsp
salt - as per taste
oil - to make adai
red chillies - 4
coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
fennel seeds - 1 tsp

wash and soak all dals together for 2 hours.
wash and soak broken wheat for 1/2 hour.
drain water from dals and broken wheat.
grind along with salt,coriander seeds, fennel seeds and red chillies with little water to a coarse paste.
heat a dosa tava and pour the batter in the centre and flatten it to a larger circle like dosa.
drip some oil around.
when it changes colour flip it and cook the other side.
serve hot with any chutney of your choice or idly podi.
Broken wheat is otherwise called as samba Godumai or wheat rava or godumai rava.
It is a very easy and healthy dish for all especially diabetic.
you can even add finely chopped onions, shredded coconut, fresh coriander and curry leaves to the batter for enhanced flavour.
