VARIETY RICE

RAW MANGO RICE


INGREDIENTS
cooked rice - 1 cup
peanuts - 1/4 cup
green chillies - 2
red chilly - 1
curry leaves - few
oil - 1 tbsp
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
urad dal - 1 tbsp
channa dal - 1 tbsp
raw mango - 1 (medium size)
salt - To taste

PROCEDURE
Fluff cooked rice with a fork and let it cool.
Wash, peel and shred the mango.
Heat a pan and add oil to it.
Add mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal and fry till it turns golden brown on a slow flame.
Add green chillies, red chilly, curry leaves and needed salt.
Add the shredded mango and fry for a minute.
Add cooked rice and peanuts  and mix well.
Serve with any raitha and chips.
