AVAL \ POHA \ BEATEN RICE CUTLET
INGREDIENTS
Poha/
aval - 2 cups
Chilli pwd –
1 tsp
Coriander
leaves – ¼ cup (chopped)
Ginger
garlic paste – 1 tsp
Onion – 1
(finely chopped)(optional)
Garam masala
– 1 tsp
Salt – to
taste
Oil – to fry
PROCEDURE
Soak aval In water for 5 mins. Now drain the water thoroughly and squeeze between your palms for excess water.
Now add
chilli powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, onion and salt.
Heat a
shallow pan and shallow fry the cutlets in medium heat on both sides till they
turn golden brown.
Serve hot
with tomato ketchup as a tea time snack on a rainy day and enjoy.
Tips
You can use 2 or 3 slices of bread for taste and shape or
if your dough is little sticky.
For better results refrigerate for atleast half an hour
before you fry the cutlets.
